Asfert 3 is an NPK fertilizer intended for feeding all plant species, especially calliophilic ones (vegetables, potatoes, sugar beets, fruits, vines, tuberous and ornamental plants). The increased content of potassium, the balanced ratio of microelements and the high-quality formulation allow the application of Asfert 3 fertilizer on different types of soil (especially those containing less potassium) in the open field and in protected areas.
The importance of potassium in plant life comes from its role. As an enzyme activator, it directly or indirectly affects numerous physiological-biochemical processes in plants, primarily the regulation of the water regime and the biosynthesis of high-molecular compounds.
The optimal time to apply the Asfert 3 fertilizer is in the later stages of the growing season, after fruit formation, when the plant’s need for potassium is much higher.
The application of Asfert 3 fertilizer with regular protection treatments has a favorable effect on the quality and size of the fruits and significantly contributes to increasing the resistance of plants to adverse environmental conditions such as low and high temperatures and drought.
Nutrition of plants: for complete nutrition of plants through the soil (fertigation), quantities of 50-250 kg/ha can be recommended, with the fact that the soil substrate has been brought to a state of optimal fertility by conventional fertilization.
In the case of programmed use through irrigation water (fertigation), the application amount of this fertilizer is introduced with a solution of concentration up to 0.1%, and foliar with a solution of concentration 0.3–0.5%.
Time of application: from the formation of fruits to the beginning of ripening.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
By programmed application of the required amounts of fertilizer through water for watering the entire surface or locally (watering “drop by drop”), and foliar, in combination or without combination with appropriate protective agents. In the case of foliar application with protective agents, the rule of dissolution should be followed: water – fertilizer – protective agent.
The number of treatments during the year depends on the requirements of the cultivated plants, soil composition, substrate and proposed methods of application, which usually means several times during the year.
